- Lucinda enjoys reading and is an avid horse enthusiast and loves riding.
Lucinda began her nursing career at BTC as an LPN student and then an RN Bridge student. After graduating from BTC, Lucinda worked as a Labor & Delivery nurse in Missouri and also traveled to Texas as a travel nurse. She has been a nurse for nearly 10 years. She then began teaching at her alma mater and has been an instructor at BTC for almost 5 years. Lucinda said, "When you see that spark in a person's eyes as they reach that "Aha!" moment, it really makes you feel wonderful. It was really great to be able to come back to my old school and come full circle- being a BTC graduate, going through all of my own schooling, and now helping new students to begin their own journey in nursing to help give them that drive to learn and succeed."
Lucinda teaches Fundamentals of Nursing - RN program, Maternal Child - LPN and RN program, and is a Lab instructor for Anatomy & Physiology I and II and Microbiology.
