- Lynetta studied music in college and enjoyed a tour through Ireland and England playing handbells.
Lynetta is teaching Human Nutrition at BTC after spending 2 years as the Pediatric and women's health dietitian at WIC office; 3 years as a clinical dietitian in acute care; and 4 years as a Nutrition instructor at a community college. Lynetta has great experience to share with our students, and she is passionate about the sciences of food and human nutrition and empowering others to be a catalyst for positive change in our healthcare system.
Before working in the Nutrition field, Lynetta earned a Master of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, was a Dietetic Intern at Illinois State University, and earned a Bachelors in Science degree in Dietetics from College of the Ozarks.
