BTC 2024 Nursing Students Achieve Exceptional NCLEX Pass Rates
Posted on May 29, 2025
Congratulations to the BTC Class of 2024!

We are proud to announce the outstanding results from the 2024 nursing licensure exam, the Next Generation NCLEX (NGN)!
What is the NGN?
The Next Generation NCLEX is a nationwide examination required for nursing licensure. After successfully completing their nursing education, students must pass this exam to legally practice as nurses. This exam is completely independent of Bolivar Technical College and administered by a national licensing body. Passing the Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) demonstrates that graduates have achieved the necessary readiness and competence to safely provide healthcare services.
Class of 2024 Results
BTC’s Professional Nursing (RN) Class of 2024 graduates achieved a remarkable 97% overall Next Generation NCLEX pass rate, with 36 of the 37 students successfully passing the exam. BTC’s Practical Nursing (LPN) graduates achieved a flawless milestone; all 20 students passed the Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) exam on their very first attempt. This 100% first-time pass rate is a powerful testament to their hard work, dedication, and the strength of BTC’s nursing education.
"We're incredibly proud of our students and faculty for achieving such exceptional pass rates," said BTC President, Charlotte Gray. "It's rewarding to watch our grads get this win after preparing throughout their entire program. Everyone works really hard to be the best nurse they can be."
BTC’s nursing programs, including the RN to BSN Completion, RN, and LPN tracks, continue to earn recognition for preparing highly skilled nurses who excel in their professions and meet the increasing healthcare demands of our community.
The college is now enrolling students for the fall semester for the Professional Nursing (RN) program, online RN to BSN Completion program, Practical Nursing (LPN) program, LPN to RN Bridge program and Paramedic to RN Bridge programs.
