Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) is a core piece of a nursing student’s curriculum as it studies the different systems within the human body and sets a foundation for what nursing students will build upon throughout their education and career. For this reason, our faculty is continuously researching the newest and most effective ways to help our students learn about the human body in the A&P lab.
Our hybrid Anatomy & Physiology course is designed to provide students with a strong conceptual and practical foundation through an engaging online learning environment, followed by focused on-campus laboratory experiences at midterm and finals.
Our on-campus Anatomy & Physiology course offers a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience that combines in-person lectures, fully equipped laboratory sessions, and interactive digital resources. The course includes an on-campus laboratory, equipped with anatomical models and learning tools that allow students to explore the structure of the human body firsthand. During lab sessions, students work directly with models and specimens to identify structures, understand spatial relationships, and apply physiological principles in a collaborative environment.

Accreditation
As an institution, Bolivar Technical College is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Our online RN to BSN Completion program is also approved to participate in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) by the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (DHEWD).
Articulation Agreements
