BTC Nursing Class Achieves 100% NCLEX Pass Rate
Posted on April 2, 2026
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
Bolivar Technical College’s 2025 Professional Nursing graduates didn’t just finish strong, they achieved a 100% NCLEX pass rate, setting the tone for what practice-ready nursing looks like.
For many of these students, nursing school meant balancing life, work, and family responsibilities. With an average age around 30 and many supporting dependents, this achievement represents more than academic success, it’s a major life milestone.
Why This Matters for Healthcare
A perfect NCLEX pass rate means every graduate is ready to step into the workforce immediately. That impact is already being felt across southwest Missouri.
BTC graduates are already making an immediate impact in healthcare systems across the region. Members of the 2025 class have accepted positions in a wide range of settings, including:
- Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH), General Surgery Clinic, Parkview Long Term Care, Parkview Geriatric Wellness, Emergency Department, Med Surg, and Intensive Care Unit
- Cox Health, Myer Orthopedic, Cardiac Med Surg, Operating Room
- The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek
- Bates County Memorial Hospital
- Mercy Hospital
- Alomere
- Benton County Health Dept
- Phoenix Home Health
- Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility
- Missouri Eye Institute
Notably, several graduates have chosen to also continue their education in BTC’s 100% online RN to BSN Completion program, further advancing their skills and career opportunities.
This exceptional outcome underscores BTC’s commitment to preparing practice-ready nurses who are confident, competent, and equipped to deliver high-quality patient care from day one. BTC’s nursing programs are designed with a clear focus: fewer barriers to getting started, hands-on training that mirrors real clinical environments, and strong partnerships with local healthcare providers. “Our students’ success is supported by our partnership with CMH that places students with bedside nurse preceptors, giving them real-world experience that bridges classroom learning and patient care,” Tasha Detloff, RN Program Coordinator, said. “This allows students to see and care for the patients they have been learning about in the classroom.” The result is graduates who are not only passing licensure exams but stepping confidently into critical roles across the healthcare system.
Congratulations 2025 RNs
“These students worked incredibly hard,” Mrs. Detloff said. “A 100% pass rate doesn’t happen by chance. It’s the result of determination, accountability, and a training environment that truly prepares students for the realities of nursing.”
