BTC Practical Nursing Graduates Earn 100% NCLEX Pass Rate

    There’s no better feeling than seeing hard work pay off, and that’s exactly what happened for our December 2025 Practical Nursing (LPN) graduates.

    We’re proud to share that 100% of our December 2025 LPN graduates passed the NCLEX-PN on their first attempt. Considering the national first-time pass rate is 87%, this is an incredible accomplishment and one that reflects the dedication of our students and faculty alike.

    The NCLEX-PN is the licensing exam every practical nursing graduate must pass before becoming a licensed practical nurse (LPN). It’s designed to measure the knowledge, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills needed to provide safe, effective patient care. Achieving a perfect first-time pass rate is uncommon among nursing programs across the country, making this milestone even more meaningful.

"A perfect NCLEX pass rate on the first attempt doesn't happen by accident. It reflects months of determination, resilience, and commitment from our students, along with the guidance and encouragement of faculty who are invested in their success every step of the way."

    At BTC, preparing students for the NCLEX begins long before graduation. Through hands-on skills labs, simulation experiences, clinical rotations, and personalized support from experienced nursing faculty, our students build the confidence and critical thinking skills they’ll use throughout their nursing careers.

    Most importantly, this milestone represents more than a statistic. It means every graduate from this class is ready to begin caring for patients and making a difference in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and healthcare organizations throughout southwest Missouri and beyond.
