BTC Announces Fall 2023 Scholarship Recipients

We are proud to announce the recipients of our Fall 2023 scholarships: the 2023 BTC Alumni Scholarship, BTC Institutional Scholarship, and BTC Education Foundation Scholarship. The recipients received a combined $10,500 to use toward their education at BTC.  

     The 2023 BTC Alumni Scholarship has been awarded to the following five BTC Professional Nursing (RN) students, in the amount of $500 each: Autumn Buttry of Bolivar, Jessalyn Cartwright of Willard, Lynzie Katska of Springfield, Amie Lurten of Urbana and Alyssa Olonde of Bolivar. The 2023 BTC Alumni Scholarship has been awarded to the following six BTC RN to BSN Completion students, in the amount of $500 each: Amanda Appel of Jerico Springs, Jennifer Gary of Springfield, Jordon Pursifull of Republic, Tiffany Radford of Battlefield, Brittany Slagle of Bolivar and Andrea Wells of Bolivar.  

     The BTC Institutional scholarship is a $500 scholarship awarded to high school seniors who have chosen to pursue a career in nursing through Bolivar Technical College. This year’s recipient is Avery Minor. Minor graduated in May 2023 from Northeast Vernon High School in Walker, MO, and is enrolled in the Professional Nursing (RN) program, set to graduate with the Class of 2025.

     The BTC Education Foundation, which represents the college’s belief in the power of education to uplift individuals and our community, is pleased to announce the following fall 2023 scholarship recipients. From the RN Bridge program, Autumn Buttry of Bolivar. From the RN to BSN Completion program, Charlene Hebeler of Lebanon. From the Professional Nursing (RN) program: Charity Clayton of El Dorado, Aimee Clemmons of Hermitage, Paige Cunningham of Springfield, Brenda Goodman of Seymour, Braxton Souza of Phillipsburg and Leah Standon of El Dorado. From general education courses: Canyon Carpenter of El Dorado and Rosemary Williams of Humansville. 

    These generously provided scholarships underscore the commitment of Bolivar Technical College to support and empower our students in their pursuit of academic excellence.
